Katie began her journey in canine nutrition as a veterinary nurse, building a wealth of experience on schedule 3 procedures, running clinics and managing a team of nurses.

During this time, she saw the value that nutrition could provide in preventing disease and promoting the health and wellbeing of our pets. Katie then went on to study a BSc (hons) in animal behaviour and physiology which led her to understand our pet’s evolutionary history impact on modern physiology and how it relates to their diet and eating habits.

Having held role as research and development manager, Katie has formulated food for several companies in the pet food industry as well as consulting directly with clients. She has conducted research projects, been part of the raw feeding veterinary society and recently became an associate registered nutritionist, recognising her evidence-based approach to feeding animals with health conditions. Whilst teaching vets and nurses about fresh feeding she furthered her studies in nutrition, achieving a diploma in naturopathy specialising in nutrition.

A passionate animal lover and busy Mum, she is driven to help improve the quality of food our pets receive and support owners in this choice of feeding.
